Mid-Year Check-In (2): Playlists to Change for the Better

Welcome back to the second blog post of my mid-year check-in series! For the past half of the year, I’ve replaced the vast majority of the information (including books, videos, and audio) I consume with more educational, lifestyle, and conversational content that bring value, encouragement, and a sense of enlightenment. Truth is, I used to be the gal that would replay comedic YouTube skits or the same old tutorial on making the “self-proclaimed best” protein smoothie. Obviously, there’s a time and place for those, but for me, that time has passed.

Quick tangent: maybe the time I drink matcha and coffee together should also pass.

I wanted to share all the playlists of life gems that I’ve found from countless YouTubers who have videos with informative messages that can benefit anyone, but mostly women who want to elevate the quality of their lives! These are all public playlists that you can save and watch anytime or use as inspiration to create your own playlists! Some of these playlists involve subjects that are quite heavy in terms of content, so please proceed with caution for a few, especially if you underwent trauma. Heal at your own time, your own pace, and under your own circumstances.

A VERY, VERY important note: for most of these YouTubers, I have not watched all the YouTube videos of nor do I follow all of them. We should keep it that way. After all, we all know the outcomes of parasocial relationships, especially those that take place online with people we have never, ever met in real life. Even if we have encountered them in person, that doesn’t mean we know the full scope of their lives or who they are. Never force yourself to watch something or someone that you aren’t interested in or perhaps are ready for. Respect everyone’s privacy, take whatever you like, leave what you don’t, and most importantly, do not compare yourself to others.
