Wow! It’s been a long time! You can say that, as of lately, life has been grand-slamming me with the capital “L” for love.
That is, the unrequited, tried and true, yet often very tough, type of love.
Anyhow, I wanted to share a little passion project that is the result of a gargantuan amalgamation of events, learnings, observations, and metamorphoses in my personal endeavors: ta-da! A unique journal!
Since my youth, I’ve followed journaling and writing in diaries as much as I desired. The very first diary I had was a lock-and-key Hello Kitty ballerina princess diary that was lavender, pink, purple, rose, magenta…absolutely stunning. Golly, I wrote some wild stories in that book. While I don’t have that journal anymore, there were quite a few that followed, but I never found a journal or a diary that screamed “ME”. Hence forth, I decided to create one, then go the extra mile and concoct numerous exercises and prompts for self-help, self-love, and healing!
Process-wise, I created the journal using Canva, BookBolt, and Amazon KDP. Canva helped immensely with graphic designing and illustrations; BookBolt is an easy and relatively intuitive site to layout your books to print propertly; finally, I use Amazon KDP to sell my journals!
The personal cover I designed:
My story with the cover encompasses recent (and extremely, almost spookily, frequent) encounters with angel numbers, both on my social media and in my environment. Additionally, I gathered countless pictures from Instagram, Pinterest, the Internet, and from many other sources that embody and encapsulate what elevates my inner child, displays my goals, and inspires me to constantly evolve positively. Think of this as a condensed and more general version of a vision board!
Note: I chose not to sell this cover to the general public because it is very personal to me and the photos (minus the angel numbers) are not mine…you know, legal and copyright troubles. For now, the journal cover displays a vast array of angel numbers that I found in more current times as well. All those angel number sequences are my own.
